Presentation Length
Presenters are expected to follow the time limits that are given to them. NOTE: Presentation time/duration must include Q&A. There will also be time for Discussion in most sessions. As a courtesy to all presenters and the session chairs, please plan to be present for the entire session. Room monitors will be in the session rooms to ensure sessions are running on time.
Presentation Files
It is expected that you prepare a PowerPoint presentation with visuals to support your presentation. All session room screens will be in 16:9 format (widescreen) so your PowerPoint file should be set appropriately to 16:9 dimensions. Video files MUST be embedded in your PowerPoint file. The maximum file size for your presentation is 150 MB. Macintosh presentations (i.e. Keynote) cannot be accommodated, unless saved to a PC-formatted USB stick. Presenters have the option to use the iMig 2020 template for their presentation.
Check-in to the Speaker Ready Room
All presenters are required to check-in to the Speaker Ready Room at least 5 hours prior to their scheduled presentation. Changes can be made until 90 minutes prior to your presentation. Computers will be available to upload and preview presentations.
Presenters should make sure all fonts appear as expected and all sound/video clips are working properly. The final version must be submitted to the Speaker Ready Room as no file submissions are accepted in the Session Rooms.
Poster Size and Printing
Authors with poster presentations should bring a paper copy of their poster. The size of the poster board is 950mm (width) X 2300mm (height), so your poster should not exceed this size. NOTE: Poster boards will be in portrait format. Velcro dots will be provided in the Exhibit Hall to set up posters. Poster numbers will be displayed on your poster board.
