What is the status of iMig2021?
The 15th Meeting of the International Mesothelioma Interest Group (iMig2021), scheduled to take place in Brisbane, Australia in March 2021, will be switching to a virtual format due to ongoing concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty around international travel. The new meeting will take place on 7 – 9 May 2021.
Will my airfare be refunded?
Please ask your travel agent/airline and let them know you are cancelling or modifying your booking due to the postponement of iMig 2021. The responsibility for airfare bookings and refunds falls outside the scope of iMig 2021 and will be dependent on the type of fare booked and travel insurance coverage.
I was planning to attend iMig2021 in Brisbane--can I simply transfer my registration fee to the virtual Meeting?
Absolutely. Since the Meeting is not cancelled, your registration will automatically be transferred to the new event. Any difference in cost will be refunded to you by way of your original payment method. iMig2021 will take place from 7 – 9 May 2021.
